Preveli’s beach is one of the most famous and beautiful beaches of Crete 40 klm distance from Rethymno city. It’s a place with a stunning beauty because of a palm forest which is on the banks of a large river, the second biggest palm forest of Crete. You can walk across the river under the shadow of the palm trees and walk up to the wonderful gorge. The access to the beach will be by boat and in the end of the excursion, you will have time for lunch in the taverns of the area (Damnoni).

In the way from Rethymno to Damnoni (where we will take the boat) we are making a short stop to Kourtaliotis gorge (an amazing wild gorge).
